Man Takes Stage On “The Voice” And Floors Everyone With His Version Of “Unchained Melody”

Television talent shows are a big favorite of mine. I’m over here watching primetime network television specifically for any and every talent competition while everyone else watches dramas, action shows, horror flicks, and everything else under the sun on Netflix and the like. In the end, I just enjoy the talent shows more than the other shows because they have just as much drama and excitement, but their cast members are 100% real, and not actors. It is common for actors and actresses to be paid to be talented in dramas, comedies, and sitcoms, but reality talent shows actively introduce unknown people to the world and give them an opportunity to show off their skills. In my opinion, I connect more with “regular” people on television than I will with actors and actresses.

Currently, one of my favorite reality television shows is ‘The Voice’, in which celebrities select singers to join their teams and sing out for several weeks until one talented contestant emerges. The ‘Blind Auditions’ are one of my favorite aspects of the show, where the celebrity coaches select their teams without seeing the participants; they can only hear their voices.

The Voice is a show that can be seen all around the globe, and I am not the only person who enjoys watching it. As a result, ‘The Voice: Holland’ has decided to mix things up by inviting seniors to audition, with all of the contestants having to be at least 60 years of age. It’s a fun, interesting twist, and it gives people a chance to compete who may otherwise have been overlooked.

There have been some success stories so far because of the show; and one participant in particular has really caught the attention of viewers the second he took the stage and started to sing. René Bishop wowed everyone and was the most talked-about participant with his version of the well-known classic, Unchained Melody. Tackling such a popular song can sometimes be a risk. However, René knew he would have to pull it off to make his dream of singing for the public come true.

In his sleek, pin-striped suit, he could not be seen by the judges as he walked on stage, but his amazing voice had them hooked. They looked amazed when he sang, and when he hit a high note, all four judges turned their chairs to indicate that they were interested in having him as part of their team.
